Avec Ginger/Firefox (Mac OS) rien ne se passe. J'ai uploadé mon fichier bookmarks.html et je n'obtiens rien d'autre que le message de base : Editez le module et indiquez l'URL de votre fichier FireFox, IE ou XBEL. Vous pouvez aussi indiquer une adresse FTP : ftp://user:password@mydomain.com/bookmarks.xml J'ai évidement rafraichis ma page plusieurs fois.

Problème résolu. C'était un problème de rafraichissement de la page.

Bonjour, Je suis sous Vista et le widget ne retourne aucun contenu, aussi bien avec mes fichiers bookmark que ceux indiqués en exemple dans la description du widget, un peu plus haut. Aucun message d'erreur. Une idée ?

Je trouve ce widget sympa, surtout si on l'associe avec l'extension de Firefox qui exporte les Bookmarks à la fermeture. On a toujours ses favoris à porter de main. Par contre, depuis ma migration sous Ginger, je n'arrête pas d'accéder aux bookmarks des autres aléatoirement. Impossible d'accéder à mes bookmarks, malgré une ressaisie complète de l'url et plusieurs rafraichissements ... Un peu génant !!!

Bonjour, Afin de comprendre pourquoi ces problèmes, pouvez-vous indiquer vos types/versions de navigateur, OS et netvibes que vous utilisez ? Pour info, j'ai constaté un dysfonctionnement du widget avec la version Ginger de Netvibes, je suis en train de travailler dessus, mais Ginger étant en version beta, cela ne fait pas encore partie des priorités. Je rejoins le commentaire de jambon-fromage,le widget est ces temps ci incontrolable! J'ai essayé d'en trouver un équivalent mais pas moyen,celui ci convenait tout a fait a mon utilisation,permettant en deux clics de synchroniser avec firefox et "bookmark sync & sort" ca faisait un duo idéal! J'espère que tu comptes le remettre a jour,car ce serait dommage de laisser mourir un module qui a été si bon dans le passé... Cordialement, MsK

Tester avec les Signets de Safari et les bookmarks de Frefox mais impossible de faire marcher ce module..... Pareil est ce parce que j'ai toute une grosse liste de bookmarks avec pleins de dossiers et de sous dossiers ? ou faut il que l'adresse du site d'hébergement soit particulière ?? Je n'est toujours pas compris pourquoi :/

Pour une mise à jour dynamique, ce Widget pourrait être utilisé avec le fichier index.xml généré automatiquement par l'utilitaire "favoritesync" : http://favoritesync.com (je ne sais évidemment pas comment faire ça !) Qu'en penses-tu ? J'utilise ce systeme depuis plusieurs années et ne peut plus m'en passer! Renaud

I found a great solution to the problem of importing your bookmarks or having to add to a server (it works great and keeps all the folders and organization of your bookmarks). Here are the steps: 1.) Open the organize your bookmarks and export them as HTML to anywhere on your comuter. 2.) Go to http://localhostr.com and upload your HTML file. 3.) Once complete simply copy the URL given into the edit tab in My Bookmarks. Once you hit ok they will not load, you need to refresh the entire page, then everything loads. Hope this helps!

impossible à faire marcher (autant sous IE que sous Mozilla) j'ai failli m'arracher les cheveux pendant 10 minutes (fait tout planter à chaque fois) avant de le jarter !... est-ce parce que mes bookmarks sont volumineux ?

C'est corrigé pour la version beta 2 avec une option permettant de choisir entre les scrollbars et l'agrandissment automatique. Fixed on beta 2 version with an option which you can switch between scrollbars and resize auto.

Ca ne fonctionne pas comme il faut... De mon coté, voici ce qui se passe: Le module se charge sans probleme avec mes repertoires contenu dans mon fichier HTML, ce qui donne une fenetre de grosseur X. Mais quand on clique sur un repertoire pour y faire apparaitre les liens, la fenetre RESTE de la meme grosseur, et donc impossible de voir les liens.

J'ai exactement le meme probleme... je crois qu'il y a un big avec ce module car avant il fonctionnait a merveille... mais maintenant il faut cliquer sur "Déplier Tout" pour avoir acces a nos favoris... Quelqu'un à une solution?

Associé à l'extention Bookmark Sync and Sort par rhaebuster, ce module me permet d'avoir accès à mes favoris depuis n'importe quel ordinateur connecté à internet. Super pratique ! En revanche (je ne sais pas si c'est un bug ou pas), il m'est impossible d'ouvrir un dossier individuellement ; je suis obligé de cliquer sur "Déplier tout".

Something wrong with this plugin... from 2 or 3 days now, this GOOD plugin don't work anymore. I cannot expand when I click on a bookmark folder. But if I click to "Expand All", I can see all my bookmark. I'm using this plugin from over month now, but from 2 or 3 days, it's like the plugin have some problem

@ Netvibes user, it seems you can only use a http or ftp server to host your bookmark file. Any webserver will do.

I am very happy about this module - separate bookmark modules will make netvibes much more useful. I'm having a problem with my file path while trying to import Firefox bookmarks, though. If I type the whole path in the space provided, (i.e. file:///Users/myusername/Desktop/bookmarks.html) the file can't be found. If I type use a shortened path (bookmarks.html), another set of bookmarks (in french) is imported! Can you post me an example of what the entire path should look like? Thank you. Sorry - I have posted this in English to explain properly, but feel free to respond in French. Thanks again

Ok how do you work this thing? it shows up in French and I can not find any way to change the language. The edit button just opens a URL box with a configure button. I have no idea how to change it or get it to get my firefox bookmarks. Are there English directions somewhere?

This module has been forgetting it's tag selection for me lately and now comes up every time with ALL my bookmarks in a very long list down the page. Is this a problem with the module or the netvibes servers?

Ensuite, le fichier ainsi généré doit être impérativement hébergé sur un serveur accessible depuis le web (Soit FTP, soit HTTP). Par exemple, tu peux prendre un espace chez un hébergeur de sites web, il y en a des gratuits (Free par exemple).

Malgré plusieurs tentatives d'import depuis plusieurs versions de Firefox, mes favoris (boolmarks.hml) ne sont pas reconnus par Netvibes, qui affiche "error". Serait-ce parce que le fichier est trop volumineux (2,6 Mb) ?

I use Firefox 1.5 and the configure button simply doesn't work. When I press it, the module close like I didn't press the button edit. I don't know why. My JS consol do not print errors. It's weird because it seems to work for other.

OK, so let switch to English then :) One evolution proposal : let the "Défaut" bookmarks also appear in tags/categories, I have not been able to perform it so far. I would like that "Défaut" bookmarks are actually brought forward from the whole population of bookmarks, and still being able to find them in related tag display. If I am not clear enough, please let me know! In any case, this the module that I needed most and allowed me to drop definitively Netvibes competitors (Yahoo, Google, Blogmarks, e-Poke, etc.). So be thanked for it and keep up improving it but keeping it light :) Vincent

Cela est très certainement dû à la présence de caractères "exotiques" dans votre fichier. > Error: file <url http ou ftp vers votre fichier> does not exist !! : Vérifiez que vous indiquez une url pointant vers votre fichier. Pour cela, ouvrez votre navigateur et collez l'url dans sa barre d'adresses. Il doit trouver votre fichier. Si ce n'est pas le cas, c'est que votre url est incorrecte. A bientôt

Tres bon module! Le top serait pour moi de pouvoir : - soit utiliser le classement par dossier existant. - soit exploiter les tags (present dans le fichier XBEL) comme le module "bookmarks" standard. Merci!

This is very nice, far more polished than the XBEL module I wrote a while back. What would really make it great, for me, is the added ability to read RDF bookmark files also, as used by Foxmarks.

Merci :-) Effectivement, c'est une évolution possible. Mais permettre la "customisation" implique de laisser "My Bookmarks" écrire dans vos favoris qui sont sur votre serveur, ce qui pose un problème de sécurité. D'autres solutions seront peut-être envisagées...

excellent module, one of the best. One thing is that the settings are still in French even if I choose language as English!
